Power of Attorney

You sign and apostille a notarized PoA authorizing a Croatian attorney to act on your behalf. This enables your lawyer to prepare, submit, and track your citizenship application.

Application Submission

Your authorized representative files the complete package with the Croatian Ministry of Interior, consulate, or embassy. All communication and administration are handled by the proxy.

Approval & Passport

Once approved (processing time ~2 years; fast-track 12–18 months possible), your proxy assists in obtaining proof of citizenship (domovnica) and your Croatian passport — granting you full EU rights.

Remote Application via Proxy

Applicants abroad can apply remotely by granting a notarized and apostilled Power of Attorney to a Croatian lawyer. The representative will prepare, submit, and track the application, and communicate with authorities. Payments and communication are handled remotely, and once approved, the lawyer assists with obtaining proof of citizenship and passport.

Processing Time

Standard applications take around 2 years. A fast-track process of 12–18 months is possible when documents are complete, properly apostilled, and submitted through experienced representatives.

Benefits

  • Full EU citizenship rights: live, work, study, and access healthcare anywhere in the EU.
  • Dual nationality permitted.
  • Secure a European future for you and your family.
